Is it safe for pregnany women to play online games? I hear that it is really stressful and hard on the eyes making it so the baby comes undeveloped and that all the violence will add the extra "Y" chromosome which everyone says is the criminal one. I'm sorry but that is completely stupid! No way on earth it's bad for u, there are women that work on a computer all day, what is the difference if they're working or playing spades?

You can't add the extra Y chromosome by playing video games. The extra y chromosome comes from a defective male sperm.

The Y chromosome is the chromosome that makes an individual a male. It has nothing to do with being a criminal. (Unless you want to say that all males are criminals :) You also cant add a chromosome no matter what. You can activate genes on the chromosomes by changing the chemicals they are exposed to, but there arent any definitive studies on the topic. Playing online games for too long is never a good thing. Just make sure you take breaks from the screen. I also dont think puzzle pirates is very violent.
Many mothers work on computers 8+ hours a day, 5 days a week until their babies are born. It's not good for you to just sit on your bum and stare at computer games all day, but it's not going to do anything harmful to your unborn child. Not even if it strains your eyes or is offensively violent. It is DEFINITELY not going to add (or remove, for that matter) any genetic material to your baby's DNA and chromosomes. That's right up there with saying moms can't watch scary movies while pregnant or they'll miscarry or have a killer for a child.
