What is this game puzzle thing I am talking about?

I read a while ago in an article (it might have been on the yahoo homepage) and they were talking about puzzles like the rubik's cube. There was this one puzzle that had like actual prizes inside and stuff that you redeemed online if you actually solved it. I forget what it was called, does any one know what I am talking about?!What is this game puzzle thing I am talking about?
