What are some ds games somone with 1 hand could play?

I want to get a nintendo ds game for a disabled friend for x-mas. Theres so many ds games and I don't have much time to search up ds game controls online. Could zelda phantom hourglass be played with only 1 hand?

Are there any other gamaes that are mainly touchscreen that somone with 1 hands could play?, preferably not puzzle based games.What are some ds games somone with 1 hand could play?
A lot of DS games can be played with one hand. The Legend of Zelda series uses mainly the touchscreen so you only need the stylus to play. They are quite hard though as often times tricky puzzles and maneuvering is required.



The Nintendogs series also uses the touchscreen to play with your dog. You only need to give it voice commands to train your dog to sit, lie down, etc.



Pokemon is also a popular game that can mainly be played with one hand. You use the directional pad to move around and you use the touchscreen to access different menus, so you really only need to use one hand. However, I suggest getting the newer Pokemon Heartgold/Soulsilver version and NOT the Diamond/Pearl version. The Diamond/Pearl version requires the use of both hands if you want to have a faster gameplay. Heartgold/Soulsilver fixed this nasty problem by limiting it only to the touchscreen.



If your friend is a girl, you could also try any of the Cooking Mama games. Basically you have to do repetitive tasks such as cutting vegetables to create various dishes.



Do not get Super Mario Bros 64 or any of the Assassin's Creed series as they require extensive

uses of both hands during gameplay.



If you don't like puzzles, then do not get the Professor Layton series as they are completely based on puzzles even though it uses only the touchscreen.What are some ds games somone with 1 hand could play?

hand because my other hand is numb a lot of the times.



It is easy to do moves and move around with my stylus.



Yes, Zelda Phantom Hourglass can be played but it is a lot more difficult.

I would say nintendogs would be good. zelda phantom hourglass is basicly a puzzle game but you only use your little styless to controll so it would be fun but depends on how well of a gamer the person is i think.
