Can anybody recommend any good online PC games?

I'm bored, and want something addictive and immersive. I mainly play console games, but want to use my PC more as it's a bit neglected. Have tried WOW, EVE Online and Battlefield 3, and whilst none of them are bad, none of them came close to scratching my itch.



All suggestions are welcome- I love all games, be they arcade, strategy, puzzle or whatever. Please tell me a bit about the game, and also if it's free to play, subscription, or a one-off purchase fee.Can anybody recommend any good online PC games?
Here are what I play and or addicted to:



1.) World of Tanks/Massive Multi-player online tank game. Based on actual tanks from 1930-1960.



2.) Alliance of Valiant Arms (A.V.A)/ Massive Multi-player Online First Person Shooter. It's a fun game, customizable character with real based weapons to choose from and European, west, east coast American servers.



3.) Metal Assault Massive Multi-player Online 2-D game, basic arcade style of gameplay; and a customizable character too! But the thing is, 40% of the players are foriegnors, who like to hang out in the English servers.



This one is only optional but Minecraft.

It's a really fun Back to the basics game with an addictive style of Gameplay; and it recently launched, so it went from 20$ to 30$. Its probably the funnest game I have ever bought, better then any console or PC game I've ever played too.
Check out Age of Empires online.
it's a cool game and so far online interaction is excellent.
server down issues happen from time to time but not so prevalent.
they're also offering a long trial period (100 hoiurs i think of gametime).
If you want a more intense game, i think Diablo 3 will also be a great addition.

You can try playing games made in Unity3D... just install the unity3d player in your browser and youre ready to play... theyre mostly 3d type games that you can play online without downloading gigabytes of files.
TF2, best shooter ever, F2P, but you can't trade and join certain servers unless you buy from the Mann CO. store (Still awesome if your F2P)
HAVE YOU TRIED ANY OF THE GAMES ZYNGA MAKE ....I USE TO PLAY MAFIA WARS FOR NEARLY 2 YEARS ...THERE ALL FREE TO PLAY BUT YOU GET EXTRAS IF YOU SPEND MONEY I NEVER DID BUT STILL ENJOYED THE GAME.....
